Dear Delegates:

Welcome to Harvard Model Congress San Francisco 2022!

We cannot wait to welcome you to the House Foreign Affairs Committee. As members of House Foreign Affairs you will be tasked with leading deliberations and jurisdiction over bills related to how the United States conducts itself on the world stage. You will have the unique opportunity to take charge on foreign relations, military deployments abroad, and international economic policy, to name a few areas of influence. This year, we will be discussing Foreign Cyberattacks.

This year your chairs are: Amanda Stetz & Ida Kozuchowska. Here’s a little more about us!

Amanda is a senior from New Jersey living in Lowell House and studying Computer Science and the History of Art and Architecture. Outside of class Amanda can be found working with studio arts organizations and contributing to the campus fashion magazine. In her free time she enjoys fashion editorial photography, working out, and making (complicated) coffees. Amanda has staffed HMC conferences in Boston, San Francisco, and Madrid, and she can't wait to meet you all during HMCSF 2022!

Ida is a first-year from Warsaw, Poland, studying Applied Mathematics (Economics track) and Molecular Biology. Beyond her academic interests Ida is passionate about dance: she performs with Candela Latin Dance Team as well as the Harvard-Radcliffe Modern Dance Company, and is about to co-choreograph the First-Year Musical. She recently discovered a strong interest in business, and is now a Director of Marketing for Global Programs at the Harvard Crimson Business Board. In her free time, she loves to hike, sail and ski (and generally travel anywhere she can). Ida is extremely excited to see you all soon at HMCSF 2022!

As we get closer to the conference, be on the lookout for emails about a pre-conference assignment. This will give us a great opportunity to give you feedback on skills you’ll need at the conference before we all come together in San Francisco. If you have any questions before the conference, please feel free to reach out to the Director of Congressional Programs, Matt Tibbitts, at We can’t wait to meet you!

Best wishes,

Amanda Stetz & Ida Kozuchowska
