MICHAEL WALLACE

PRESIDENT

Michael is a junior in Winthrop House studying Social Studies with a focus on diplomatic history and negotiations. He's excited to serve as the HMCSF 2022's President and looks forward to bringing delegates a great experience. In the past, he has staffed HMC conferences in Boston and Tokyo in addition to HMCSF. Outside of HMC, Michael is involved with the Harvard Outing Club and the Harvard Institute of Politics. He enjoys following politics, going for long runs, and hiking (a lot).

KATELYN TURNER

VICE PRESIDENT

Katelyn is a junior in Cabot House studying Psychology with a secondary in Philosophy. She’s originally from Northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. Outside of HMC, she works with Harvard’s Small Claims Advisory Service to provide free legal information to Massachusetts residents and Cabot’s House Committee to organize house-life and plan student events. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with friends, jamming out, and binge watching some quality Netflix. Katelyn is very excited for another great year of HMC San Francisco and looks forward to meeting you all in January!

JORDAN TOPOLESKI

BUSINESS MANAGER

Jordan is a Junior in Lowell House studying Social Studies with a focus field in Technology & Innovation. A proud Ohio native, he enjoys spending his free time watching Ohio State football, reading the news, and going on runs. Outside of HMC, he runs a technology consulting company and works on strategy projects with nonprofit organizations. He is passionate about developmental economics, technology, and education, and is beyond excited to meet everybody at HMCSF 2022!

NATHAN ZHAO

DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Nathan is a sophomore in Lowell House originally from Wayland, Mass. He plans on studying Economics or Applied Mathematics with a secondary field in Philosophy. Outside of HMC, he's involved in the innovation, startup and venture capital scene on campus and leads pre-orientation trips with the First-Year Outdoor Programs. Nathan is passionate about politics, creative writing, and anything involving the great outdoors.

MATT TIBBITTS

DIRECTOR OF CONGRESSIONAL PROGRAMS

Matt Tibbitts is a rising sophomore in Eliot House. Matt plans to concentrate in economics alongside environmental science and public policy. Originally from Ludlow, Massachusetts, Matt is currently working as a legislative director in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In his senior year of high school, he was elected to the Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education where he represented over 954,000 students, spoke at numerous education conferences, and was published in a national policy journal. In his free time, Matt can be found playing board games with his friends or playing the drums.

CARTER MARTINDALE

Director of Communications

Carter is a sophomore in Quincy House who is originally from Hyde Park, Utah, and he is studying Government with a secondary field in Russian studies. Outside of HMC, Carter works with the Harvard Financial Aid Initiative, volunteers with the Small Claims Advisory Service, and is actively involved with his church group. Carter also enjoys following politics, being in the outdoors, curling up with a good book, or looking at memes. This will be Carter's third year with HMCSF and he can't wait to be part of another great year for the conference!

HALLE CLOTTEY

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Halle is a sophomore in Quincy House from Blue Island, Illinois. She is studying Computer Science but has a deep love for history and sociology as well. She has staffed HMCSF for the past two years and is excited to return as Director of Operations! Outside of HMC, Halle is involved in The Association of Black Harvard Women, Women in Computer Science, and Theater. She has always valued public speaking and education and hopes to integrate these passions into HMCSF 2022!  Aside from that, Halle loves writing and performing poetry, spending time with her family and friends, and eating good food!

NOELLE PARKS

CHIEF OF STAFF

Noelle is a sophomore living in Currier House studying Government and Neuroscience. She loves cooking (and eating), writing, and animals (especially dogs). Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she likes to play soccer in Prospect Park and thrift shop in the East Village.
