If he’s not teaching civics to 4th-graders in East Boston, you can catch him performing improv comedy or playing for the Harvard Quidditch team! KATELYN TURNER

Katelyn is a sophomore from Northern Virginia concentrating in Psychology at the College. In addition to HMC, she works with Harvard Small Claims Advisory Service and teaches dance to elementary students through Harvard's CityStep program. In her free time, Katelyn can be found hanging out with friends, reading a good book, or enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

MAYOWA JOLAYEMI

Mayowa is a first-year at the College and comes from Los Angeles, California. Interested in policy and behavior, she plans to concentrate in Economics with a secondary in Psychology. Outside of HMC, Mayowa is involved in Women in Business and works with Strong Women Strong Girls to mentor young girls in the area. She's incredibly excited to staff in San Francisco this year!

I am from the small town of Hyde Park, Utah, but have spent the last two years living in the countries of Moldova and Ukraine as a missionary. Halle is a first-year from Blue Island, Illinois currently living in Canaday. She hopes to concentrate in Computer Science and Philosophy but is open to pursing any field of study that peaks her interest. Outside of HMC, Halle is involved in The Association of Black Harvard Women, Women in Computer Science, and Harvard Model UN / National Model UN. She loves spending time with her family and friends as well as binge watching TV Shows on Netflix.

MEENA VENKATARAMANAN

Meena is a junior at Harvard pursuing a joint degree in English and South Asian Studies. Outside of HMC, Meena is the founder of the Harvard South Asian Americans in Public Service (SAAPS) initiative and is the editor-in-chief of "Shakti," SAAPS's journal of civic thought. She also founded "Stories from the Border", an immigration and U.S.-Mexico border journalism publication, and edits creative nonfiction for The Harvard Advocate's "Migration Issue".

Amanda is a sophomore at Harvard from Clifton, New Jersey, studying Government and Data Science. Amanda lives in Lowell House and spends her semesters and summers teaching middle and high school students at home and abroad. Outside of the classroom Amanda is a graphic designer for the Crimson, Harvard's student-run newspaper, and can be found drawing, painting and working with studio arts organizations on campus.

Along with HMC, Camryn is involved in the Harvard Radcliffe Modern Dance Company and CityStep on campus. Nathan Zhao is a first-year at Harvard College interested in studying English, Sociology, or Government. Originally from Wayland, Mass., Nathan was involved in debate and international relations for four years in high school. When he's not deciding what he wants to study, Nathan has a passion for journalism, creative writing, and the outdoors. He is an avid Boston sports fan and will vouch for Tom Brady any day.

RYAN BAYER

Ryan is a junior from San Diego, CA studying Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. He is incredibly passionate about teaching young people the importance of democracy, civic engagement, and public service. Outside of HMC, he is a midshipman in Harvard's Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps and will commission as an officer in the US Navy after he graduates. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking, scuba diving, and traveling.

Regina is a senior from Chevy Chase, MD concentrating in Psychology with a secondary in English. She started HMC as a delegate and has participated in 11 conferences in Boston, Asia, and San Francisco. Outside of HMC, she is a member of the Small Claims Advising Service and tutors and mentors on campus. She loves all food and hopes to go to law school after graduating from Harvard College.

Jordan is a Sophomore in Lowell House planning on studying Social Studies with a focus in Technology and Economic Development. A proud Ohio native, he enjoys spending his free time watching Ohio State football, reading the news, and going on runs. Outside of HMC, he works on strategy consulting projects with nonprofit organizations. He is passionate about developmental economics, technology, and education.

Nick is a sophomore from the small town of Granville, Ohio. He’s studying social studies, and outside of HMC, he competes on the Mock Trial team, helps clients through the Small Claims Advisory Service, and organizes events for the Alexander Hamilton Society. When he's not doing schoolwork or running between meetings, Nick can be found re-watching West Wing, re-reading Game of Thrones, or admiring pictures of his two puggles back home.

Hailing from the beautiful state of Utah, he loves the great outdoors, and can often be found hiking, mountain biking, or snowboarding in his free time.
