Atticus Lee
Senior Staffer
Atticus Lee is a senior at Harvard studying Government and History. He is from New York City and loves exploring and going on walks in his free time. You’ll always hear him talking about his favorite TV shows (especially Arrested Development) and musical artists (especially Kendrick Lamar). He attended HMC conferences all four years of high school and currently serves as the co-President of HMC Boston, having previously served as the President of HMC Europe.

Laasya Chiduruppa
Senior Staffer
Laasya is a senior in Dunster House from Massachusetts! She studies History and Government with a secondary focus in Education. She is excited to continue on her HMC journey at HMCSF! Beyond HMC, she is involved in The Crimson and teaches elementary-aged local students about leadership and civic engagement. Laasya can also be easily found pillaging bookstores and ranking coffee shops in Harvard Square!

Christopher Shin
Senior Staffer
Christopher is a rising junior at Harvard and a Leverett House resident from Cherry Hill, NJ, double concentrating in Chemical & Physical Biology and Government with a secondary in Music. He is the President of HMC-Europe 2026, and was formerly on the boards of HMC-Boston and HMC-Asia. Aside from HMC-endeavors, Chris is Co-Chair of the Policy Program at the Harvard Institute of Politics and a researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard. Christopher is also an avid musician as a classical pianist and jazz trumpeter, serving as President of Harvard College Piano Society and playing lead trumpet in the Harvard Jazz Orchestra. -
Lorenzo Ruiz

Lorenzo Ruiz is a government major at Harvard, passionate about political communications, digital strategy, and civic storytelling. He currently serves as Communications Director at the Institute of Politics and previously worked for the House Ways and Means Committee. -
Roja Yousuf
Senior Staffer
Roja is a Junior at Harvard who is passionate about studying Neuroscience with a secondary focus on Global Health and Health Policy. You'll find her volunteering at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, offering counseling services at Indigo Peer Counseling, or engaging in conversations with anyone and everyone. She is dedicated to nurturing the inquisitive and wondrous minds around her, and is excited about the potential for positive impact in both the scientific and education spheres!

Dhara Patel
Senior Staffer
Dhara Patel is a junior at Harvard studying Government. Though she has lived in California for the past 13 years, she was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York for five years, and has enjoyed her time on the east coast. This will be her second HMCSF and fifth HMC conference overall. On campus, Dhara is involved in the Institute of Politics, PBHA, and SAWC. When she's not doing schoolwork, Dhara can be found listening to New York Times Podcasts, running, or watching suspense thriller movies. -
Will Smialek
Senior Staffer
Will is a current undergraduate student at Harvard College (‘27), originally from Dublin, Ohio. He previously worked for President Biden and Vice-President Harris’s presidential campaigns and served as the founder and Co-President of Harvard for Biden and Harvard for Harris, an organization that contacted almost 20,000 voters and raised nearly $25,000. On campus, he serves as the Chair of the Fellows and Study Group (FSG) program within the Institute of Politics. He also serves as the Chief Personnel Officer for Harvard Student Agencies—a $14 million student run business—and is a staffer for Harvard Model Congress. In his free time, Will is a die-hard Ohio State Football fan. -
Nicholas Sikellis

Nicholas is a sophomore in Currier House studying Social Studies and Chemistry. Originally from Greece, Nicholas has been involved in HMC since high school and has staffed conferences in both Boston and Europe. Outside of HMC, Nicholas enjoys playing jazz piano, and playing soccer and basketball. -
Kevin Bokoum
Senior Staffer
Kevin Bokoum is a junior at Harvard studying Social Studies and Economics. Kevin is from Hagerstown, Maryland, and has spent six semesters teaching CIVICS in Boston Public Schools. This is his third HMC conference and first time staffing HMCSF. He is excited to continue building community and supporting delegates as they grow into confident and thoughtful leaders. -
Chelsea Bohn-Pozniak
Senior Staffer
Chelsea is a Junior at the college, originally from Southern New Jersey, and now a proud resident of Pforzheimer House. She studies Government with a secondary in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies. When she's not prepping for HMC, she can likely be found at rehearsal for one of the various musical ensembles she does on campus. Or maybe binge-watching Yellowjackets.

Lara is a sophomore living in Currier house. She is studying Economics on the pre-med track. She was a junior staffer of HMC Europe last spring, and will be serving as Faculty Liaison for the 2026 HMC Boston conference. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and looking at sports cars.

Jack Tueting is a sophomore at Harvard College studying government. He is originally from outside Charlottesville, Virginia, where he grew up farming sheep and cows. This is Jack's second time staffing HMC San Francisco. He has had a lifelong interest in politics, which he explores on campus through the Harvard Institute of Politics and as President of the Harvard Democrats. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his sheep, reading, and hanging out with friends.

Thomas Walder is a first-year in Wigglesworth planning to concentrate in Social Studies with a secondary in Translation Studies. With an academic focus on the judicial system, he currently plans to attend law school after graduation. Having spent two years in advocacy, he is thrilled to equip the next generation of HMC delegates with the skills necessary to be impactful, thoughtful legislators. You can always find him going on walks around campus or enjoying a Veritaffle on Saturday mornings. -
Erta Ismahili

Erta (air-tah) is a first year living in Mower Hall, interested in studying Government, Sociology, and EMR (Ethnicity, Migration, Rights). She is proudly from Revere, MA, just 20 minutes off campus! While she’s a lifelong Northeasterner, she is excited to finally visit the west coast. In her free time, she loves to play guitar, take care of her plants, thrift, and crochet! You can talk to her about all things music, international relations, immigration policy, and grassroots advocacy. She’s excited to finally try In-N-Out and Krispy Kreme and see what the hype is all about!

Yehia Said is a freshman in Mower studying Government and Psychology with a secondary in Educational Studies. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Yehia is beyond excited for HMC San Francisco this year, especially getting to know his amazing delegates. Yehia is passionate about equity in history education, race relations, and human rights law, particularly the efficacy of the International Criminal Court. Outside of class, you can find him drinking boba or matcha (not performatively), trying to compose a fugue, or listening to Sabrina Carpenter.

Austin is a first-year student planning to study Government & Economics! He is from San Francisco, California, and I can't wait to participate in his first HMC Conference! When he has free time from his psets, he loves reading and playing card games with friends (if you play the Pokemon TCG please come say hi— I need someone to play with)! He is always trying to meet new people and make friends, so if you want to hang out or go on random side quests, please let me know! :)

Carrie Truong is a first-year in Lionel from the Bay Area, planning to study Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology on the pre-med track. She is excited about HMCSF because of the opportunity to work with students from the Bay! Outside of academics, Carrie enjoys volunteering with community service organizations and exploring intersections of medicine and policy. In her free time, you can often find her taste-testing matcha, tryout out new food places, or participating in a lot of retail therapy. -
Maggie Leighton

Maggie is a first-year in Hollis Hall planning on concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology on a pre-medical track. She is interested in pursuing dermatology, but also passionate about using her medical knowledge in the future to give back to the community. She enjoys being involved with HMC because it combines her love for mentorship with the opportunity to give delegates important experiences in problem-solving and collaboration. Outside of class and HMC, you can find Maggie shopping with friends on Newbury Street, grabbing a coffee at Dunkin, or watching rom-coms!

Taylor Beljon-Regen is a first-year in Thayer from Los Angeles, California, planning to study Government with a secondary in either Environmental Science and Public Policy or Jewish Studies. She is passionate about improving civic education as a way to strengthen bipartisanship in times of polarization. Taylor is thrilled to be a junior staffer this year because she believes in the power of civic engagement and is excited to help delegates create lifelong memories. She loves watching movies with her AMC Stubs A-List membership, going to concerts, reading rom-coms, and leading her friends on adventures through the T around Boston. -

Jason Hu is a freshman living in Matthews studying Economics and Statistics. He is from Orlando, Florida but was born in Toronto, Canada. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, playing volleyball, and exploring the outdoors. This will be his first year in HMC but he is extremely excited to meet all the amazing individuals who make the HMCommunity so great! -
Joanna Rawlings

Joanna Rawlings is a first-year planning to concentrate in Human Biology, Behavior, and Evolution with a secondary in Anthropology. She is interested in using genetic material and historical census data to evaluate human migration patterns. Joanna loved her experience of HMC in high school and is so excited to be on the other side of the curtain! In her free time, you can find her people-watching with a breakfast croissant sandwich at Tatte and drawing temporary tattoos on her friends. -
Dea Kamberi

Dea Kamberi is a freshman at Harvard, hoping to study Government and Economics. She is an Albanian-American born and raised in Massachusetts, who loves the snowy and rainy weather alongside all things fall. This is her very first semester with HMC, as well as her first HMCA! Dea enjoys dancing, eating good food, taking “the long way” during walks, drawing, and playing piano. You'll probably see her bring yet another plant (or plant-esque decoration) back to her dorm every other week.

Jack Favata is a first-year in Thayer planning on studying government and economics. Jack was a delegate at Harvard Model Congress in Boston in high school and is now excited to be on the other side of things as a junior staffer at Harvard Model Congress San Francisco. Jack is passionate about ending government polarization and prioritizing effective policy work. Outside of staffing the conference, he enjoys spending time in Harvard Yard with friends, exploring new sweet treat spots in Harvard Square, and catching a good show at the theater.
