BOMBSHELL: The Fall of the World Bank

Tonight, January 13th, in a stunning fall from grace, the President of the World Bank has been found guilty of embezzlement after using funds to invest in a yacht and a bribery scandal.

Earlier today, the World Bank voted to allocate its funds toward the bribery of Antony Blinkin’s mother in order to convince her son to resign from the Presidential Cabinet.  The bank believed they could replace the Secretary of State’s job with Artificial Intelligence, and voted on bribery as the best way of achieving this goal, an initial cause for the president’s consequential charges.

This evening, the World Bank continued misplacing of funds with the purchase of a $911 million “Party Yacht”. This personal investment has left the World Bank with little to no money remaining. Countries discussed ways to regain money from private investors and are willing to go to desperate measures to do so.  In great times of disparity the countries are working to maintain a good reputation in front of the press while also regaining lost money as a result of their President’s poor and seemingly corrupt investments.

As a way of looking good in the public eye, there are talks of advocating for climate change issues, investing in South America forests and jungles. They hope to use climate change as a way to prove that they still use their funding effectively and responsibly, but the President’s corrupt actions suggest these climate change efforts could mask deeper problems.

This latest setback is just another in the longer string of problems faced by the institution. The World Bank is collapsing before the nation’s eyes, with much work to be done on how they can reallocate their drastic loss of funds. Without strong or proper leadership, the World Bank looks to fix what’s broken and right their seemingly irreversible investment decisions.
